Weiwei Xiang – Progress Report 3

My work over the past six months falls into three categories:

1. Establishment of protocols on wall thickness measurement of microvessels (diameter>=10 µm) on chick chorioallantoic membrane (CAM)
2. Devising of protocols on videomicroscopy using high speed camera which allows pulsatility analysisi of blood flow on CAM
3. Semi-automatic segmentation methods established in collaboration with ESR 2.1 Francesco Caliva and Dr. Bashir Al-Diri from University of Lincoln, UK.
