Research interests: My research interests are in applied mathematics, in particular, in mathematical modeling of biological problems, in the numerical methods for the approximation of partial differential equations and scientific computing. I’ve applied those techniques to haemodynamics, developing tools for the discretization of the Navier-Stokes equations and for fluid structure interaction problems. My latest research focused on model reduction techniques like hierarchical model reduction and geometrical multi-scale applied to haemodynamics. |
