The fifth REVAMMAD workshop, titled ‘Results, Exploitation and Careers’ took place from 31 August to 2 September at the University of Padova, in Italy. Invited external speakers spoke to the network about the different challenges with modeling the eye while ESRs had an opportunity to give a quick update of their work to date. Several members of the University of Padova contributed to the workshop with sessions about European funding. The workshop sessions were supplemented by an opportunity to socialise and visit if Palazzo Bo and Anatomical Theatre and the Museo di Storia della Medicina di Padova (MuSME).
