Research interests:

I have been studying image processing and working with retinal images for the past three years.  My research interests include retinal image quality, automatic disease detection, and machine learning.  My recent work has been in the detection of retinal imaging artifacts (ie. crescents, shadows, corneal reflex…), and in the optimization of training/testing for a top-down diabetes detection algorithm
